New Research Projects

For some time, PSI have been researching and planning behind the scenes in a number of areas. In order to progress this research, we now require the help of individuals who feel that they have abilities or have had experiences in areas such as Mediumship, PK (Psycho-Kinesis), ESP (Extra Sensory Perception), Mediumship, OBEs (Out of Body Experience), Past Life Regressission etc.

If you feel that you may be able to help in any of the above areas, please get in touch using the webform on the contact page.

Latest PSI Experiments

Over the past number of years, PSI have been developing several audio & visual experiments in order to better understand phenomena captured and also to rule out the possibility of outside influence/contamination.

Viewers will get the chance to see the success in the groundbreaking results achieved, which have never before been seen on television or to our knowledge been attempted by any other research group.  We are limited to the amount of information we can currently disclose due to media embargos.  We will be working to refine these ideas and expand the use of these across the wider spectrum of paranormal research.

New Audio/Visual Research

Prior to filming of the upcoming 2nd series of Northern Ireland's Greatest Haunts, PSI have been looking at various areas of new research.  Seemingly having had a degree of success with previous experimentation into Audio/Visual phenomena, we decided to advance to the next stage in EVP research.  Moving away from conventional EVP capture methods, the team worked together on refining an idea originally conceived and developed by Tony Armstrong.  This new technique blends spirtualism and technology in order to see if this would yield any new quantifiable data which may support the theory of a form of disincarnate intelligence.

Known within the team as the PSI Transcommunication experiment, and although in the early stages of development, this research has already yielded some fascinating results, some of which may be included in an episode of the 2nd TV series airing in November.  Working with Mark Cowden, the aim is to refine the experiment further, adding controls where necessary to see if the results can be replicated.

In addition, Darren has also been working on some ideas on visual experientation, which can also be seen during the series.  The team is currently awaiting the delivery of a new piece of equipment which will enable us to pursue our research in this area.  More detail on all of the above to be announced following the broadcast of the series and as the results are open to interpretation, we look forward to feedback from the paranormal community.

Spooked!

Spooked!

Congratulations to Ally & Dave of the PSI Midlands team, who recently featured in the paranormal entertainment show 'Spooked!' which aired on 5th October on RTE2.  Although the show focussed on the Psychological influences which can come into play in an allegedly haunted location, the PSI team were able to add a scientific edge to the programme.

The PSI Core team in Belfast were firstly approached by Coco, the production company behind 'Spooked!' and asked to put names forward to form an investigative team.  As a result Seany Dalton and Mark Guerin were also selected to join Ally & Dave in this venture.

The Belfast team were also involved in assisting with pre-production and lthe in the supply of equipment for use during filming. We look forward to working further with the team should 'Spooked!' go to series.

Remembering Julia

altIt was with great sadness that we learned of our beloved friend Julia's passing after having battled with her illness for some time.

Julia, an animal lover and dedicated veterinary nurse for many years, also had a great passion for the work that we do, and was a valued member of the PSI team and a very dear friend. Always a smile and a joke for everyone, she was known for her sharp sense of humour and for keeping the boys in check if we ever stepped out of line!

She was greatly missed during her recent absence from the team and during filming of the 2nd GH series. A beautiful and unique individual, she has left a space in all of our hearts and will be remembered forever as a free spirit who liked to enjoy life and the company of all those she loved.

We would like to convey our deepest sympathies to family and friends at this difficult time.

We love and miss you Julia. Rest in Peace. xx

We are also delighted to announce that narration of the series is delivered by the instantly recognisable voice of James Nesbitt.

PSI were selected last year to take part in this six part TV series for BBC Northern Ireland, which is presented by well known paranormal investigator Andy Matthewsand will feature guest clairvoyant medium Marion Goodfellow.

NI Greatest Haunts is not another Most Haunted. This series promises to deliver new scientific research and experimentation never before seen on TV to gather evidence for and against the existence of spirits. The series is honest, true to life and very fly-on-the-wall in its approach.
